Annette Christine Tucker, 72 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at her home. She was born September 16, 1949 at La Harpe, Illinois, a daughter of Dale Howard and Betty Lou (Eaves) Scott. On January 26, 1985, she married Clinton Tucker in Fort Madison.

She did babysitting and also worked at Sheaffer Pen, Jacks, and at various attorney offices. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and working in her flower gardens. She was a member of the Grace Bible Church and a Sunday school teacher.

She is survived by her husband, Clinton Tucker of Fort Madison; one son, Matthew Mausling of Fort Madison; one daughter, Sue Rodgers of Canton, Missouri; five sisters: Carolyn (Roger) Thompson of Sciota, Illinois; Janet (Mike) Gregory of Donnellson, Iowa; Robin (Tom) Doty of Dixon, Missouri; Yvonne (Tuck) Tucker of Fort Madison; Eugenia Carter of Elk River, Minnesota; one brother, Mark Scott Sr. of Fort Madison; one aunt, uncles; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She also raised eleven foster children. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Per her wishes, her body has been cremated. Her family will greet friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison. A memorial service will follow and begin at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Barr Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Jim Luder officiating. Burial will be at the Claypoole Cemetery, Wever, Iowa. A memorial has been established, contributions may be made at the Barr Memorial Chapel.
