Audrey Louise Edlen, 84 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died at 8:30 am Thursday, August 4, 2016 at The Madison in Fort Madison. She was born February 3, 1932 at Fort Madison, Iowa, a daughter of Dale Linn and Elizabeth Emma (Kullowatz) Edlen.

She was a lifelong resident of Fort Madison. She worked at Sheaffer Pen Company for 41 years, working in the mail room at retirement. She was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing cards.

She is survived by one niece, Julie Baines, of Denton, Texas and two nephews: Matt Edlen, of Maineville, Ohio and Mark Edlen, of Portland, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Linn Dale Edlen and Eugene "Gene" Edlen.

Per her wishes, the body will be cremated. A graveside service and burial will be held 10:00 am Friday, September 2, 2016 at Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison, Iowa, with Pastor Bill Willis officiating.
