Betty Nell Boyle, 83 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died Friday, January 2, 2026 at the Henry County Health Center, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.  She was born May 15, 1942.  On November 9, 1961, she married Charles F. Boyle Sr. at Fort Madison.  He preceded her in death on January 31, 1993.

She was a homemaker, and her family was most important to her.  When she was younger she liked working outside with her flowers.  She enjoyed crafts, word search puzzles, BINGO, and watching TV, especially game shows.  Betty loved her family.

She is survived by her son, Jim Boyle, of Fort Madison; five grandchildren: Courtney (Tim) Mason, Cassi Boyle, Charlie Boyle, Tiffany Boyle, and Jessica Hopp; great grandchildren: Brittany Mason, Ashley Mason, Wyatt Mason, Raelyn Wade and nine other great grandchildren, other family and friends, including her special friends at the New London Specialty Care.  She is preceded in death by her husband, one son Charles "Chuck" F. Boyle Jr., and one daughter-in-law Joy Boyle.

A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 31, 2026 at The Crossing, 610 Timea Street, Keokuk, Iowa.  A private burial will be at Oakland Cemetery at a later date.  A memorial has been established.  Barr Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Boyle family and an online guest book may be found at www.barrmemorialchapel.com.
