Brandon Luis Perez, 23 years old, of Fort Madison, Iowa died Sunday morning, March 22, 2015 in an automobile accident near Red Oak, Iowa. He was born February 16, 1992 at Loveland, Colorado, the son of Stella Maria Perez and Scott Robert Satterlee. He was raised by his maternal grandparents, Merlin "Rusty" and Dollie Boyd.

Brandon loved working with his grandfather, Rusty, doing siding and windows. He also worked helping elderly. He was a spiritual individual. He had a passion for cooking, art, writing, music, and tattoos.

He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Merlin "Rusty" and Dollie Boyd, of Fort Madison, Iowa; his mother, Stella and Tim Perez-Carnell, of W. Peoria; his father, Scott Satterlee, of Morton, Illinois; paternal grandparents, Ann and Carl Satterlee, of E. Peoria, Illinois; one brother, Jacob Satterlee, of E. Peoria, Illinois; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His body has been cremated. A Celebration of his Life will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Youth Building of the Victory Faith Family Church, Fort Madison.
