Catherine E. Puckett, 51 years, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and formerly of West Point, Iowa died unexpectedly at
8:02 pm Friday, March 2, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was born January 22, 1961, at Fort Madison, Iowa, a daughter of Albert H. and Mary A. (Found) Fraise.

Cathy was a student at Kaplan University, Cedar Rapids, and was expecting to earn her BS in Business Accounting in May 2012. Prior to college she worked at several factories in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City areas. She loved movies and her Boston Terrier dogs and puppies. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include three sons: D.J. Puckett, of Fort Madison, Iowa; Phoenix Gaylord, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Anthony Todd, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; five brothers: Terry Fraise, of Fort Madison, Iowa; Harold Fraise, of West Point, Iowa; Lloyd (wife Becky) Fraise, of West Point, Iowa; Russell (wife Patricia) Fraise, of Fort Madison, Iowa; Steve (Carol) Fraise, of Montrose, Iowa; three sisters: Elberta (husband Bill) Teitsworth, of Oquawka, Illinois; Sue (husband Tim) Parker, of Fort Madison, Iowa; and Carol (husband Bill) Stancil, of Donnellson, Iowa; fiancé, Brian Truitt, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her body has been cremated. Her family will greet friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Barr-Holtkamp Funeral Home, West Point, Iowa. A memorial service will follow and be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Barr-Holtkamp Funeral Home, with Reverend John Simpson, officiating.
