Dale Lee Jordan, 70 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died at 2:40 pm Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the Great River Medical Center, West Burlington, Iowa. He was born September 13, 1942 at Keokuk, Iowa, a son of Walter Nelson and Lily F. (Silvers) Jordan. On January 3, 1965, he married Darlene Davis at Fort Madison, Iowa. She survives.

Dale lived in the area all of his life and was a 1961 graduate of Montrose High School. He worked at Sheaffer Pen Company for 29 years. He liked trains, reading, and riding his bike.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Jordan, of Fort Madison, Iowa; one brother, Richard (wife Joan) Jordan, of Keokuk, Iowa; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, and one nephew.

Per his wishes his body has been cremated. Private burial of his cremated remains will be held at a later date at Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison, Iowa. A memorial has been established, contributions may be sent to the Barr Memorial Chapel.
