Delores M. Decker, 90 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died Sunday evening, March 24, 2019 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa. She was born March 12, 1929, a daughter of Elmer and Naoma (Spitzmiller) Gulick. On July 13, 1956, she married Lawrence "Larry" H. Decker. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2016.

Delores was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church, Fort Madison. She enjoyed fishing, soap operas, drives along the river, playing cards, flowers, and bird watching.

She is survived by her three sons: Gary (Ruth) Decker of Fort Madison; Kevin (JoLynn) Decker of Granbury, Texas; and Laury Edward Decker of Albuquerque, New Mexico; four grandchildren: Michael (Brienna), Monica, Elise, and Corissa; two great grandchildren: Garrett and Mikenna; and one sister, Shirley Woodard of Waterloo, New York. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Larry.

Her family will greet friends from 6:00 - 7:00 pm Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison, Iowa. A graveside service and burial will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Fort Madison, with Pastor Pete Hagglund officiating. A memorial has been established for St. Jude's Children's Hospital and contributions may be left at the Barr Memorial Chapel.
