Helen M. Clegg, 85 years, of Fort Madison and formerly of Mankato, Kansas,
died Saturday August 1, 2015 at the Madison Care Center, Fort Madison, Iowa. Helen was born March 10, 1930 at Cawker City, Kansas, a daughter of Frank C. and Alla Zell (Rickman) Winkel.
On June 12, 1952 she married Robert Lee Clegg at Mankato, Kansas. He preceded her in death. Helen worked as a waitress and cook.
She is survived by one brother, Dean (wife Barbara) Winkel, of Fort Madison, and several nieces and nephews: Emma Jean Rafferty, Jerry Junkins, Beverly Junkins, Rick Junkins, Sharon Junkins, Linda Thompson, Terry Van Aken, Bill Van Aken, Jack Van Aken, Jeffrey Van Aken, Judy Sanders, Carla Davis, Julia Stauffer, Brad Winkel and Karen Brandenburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters: Betty Frink, Maxine Junkins
and Marge Van Aken, and one brother, Howard Winkel.
