John Keith Fleming, 27 yrs, of Fort Madison, Iowa died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 from injuries sustained in a pedestrian accident, on Hwy 61, north of Keokuk, Iowa. He was born April 1, 1983 at Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of John Kevin and Diana Lynn (Thomas) Fleming. He grew up in West Virginia, then moved to Belton, Missouri and then to Fort Madison, Iowa just two years ago. He was currently working at the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Keokuk. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and music.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, John Kevin and Chandra Fleming, of Belton, Missouri; his mother and step-father, Diana and Larry Abercrombie, of Tridelphia, West Virginia; two sons, Keaton Fleming, of Belton, Missouri and Tristan Mikael Fleming, of Fort Madison, Iowa; two sisters: Anna Marie Fleming, of Wheeling, West Virginia and Alicia Ann Fleming, of Newark, New Jersey; three half brothers: Shaun and Shane Fleming, both of Belton, Missouri, and Tyler Abercrombie, of Tridelphia, West Virginia; one half sister, Abigail Abercrombie, of Tridelphia, West Virginia; two step-brothers: Brandon Abercrombie, of Wheeling, West Virginia and Justin Abercrombie, of Raleigh, North Carolina; his maternal grandmother, Judith Marie Thomas, of Weirton, West Virginia; one aunt, three uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.

His body has been cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at the Meeting Room of the Fort Madison Bank and Trust, 636 Ave G, Fort Madison, Iowa with Reverend Homer Brooks, officiating. A memorial has been established for his two sons: Keaton and Tristan Fleming. Contributions may be made at the Meeting Room on the day of the service, or mailed to Brenda Wetteland, c/o Fort Madison Bank and Trust, 636 Ave G, Fort Madison, Iowa.
