Larry Joe Smith, 68 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died Friday, February 19, 2016 at his home. He was born October 24, 1947 at Fort Madison, Iowa, a son of Eugene "Gene" F. and Darlene Elizabeth (Bishop) Smith. He worked construction and carpentry. He loved to go fishing and hunting.
He is survived by nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one daughter, Kelly Jo Smith.
Per his wishes, the body will be cremated. No services are planned.
