Lee Ann Soto, 72 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at her home.  She was born March 1, 1952 at Quincy, Illinois, a daughter of William and Beverly (Brockman) Abbott .  On May 14, 2005, she married Edwin "Ed" Soto at Orlando, Florida.  They would of celebrated 20 years.

She graduated from Iowa Wesleyan University, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.  She was the director of risk management at Optimae.  She was of the Lutheran faith.

Lee is survived by her husband, Edwin "Ed" Soto, of Fort Madison, Iowa; her children: Jason Saeger, of Packwood, Iowa, Abby Saeger and Corrie Saeger, both of Fort Madison, Iowa; her brother, Reverend William and Pat Abbott, of Decatur, Illinois and four grandchildren: Bailie, Shannon, Shona, and Beverly.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated.  Her family will greet friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2025 at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison.  A Celebration of Her Life will follow and begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Barr Memorial Chapel.  Burial will be at the Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison.  Barr Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Lee Soto family and an online guest book may be found at www.barrmemorialchapel.com.
