M. Margaret Leach, of Fort Madison, Iowa died at 9:32 pm Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at the West Point Care Center, West Point, Iowa. She was born in Gorin, Missouri, a daughter of Audrey and Hallie (Davis) Miller. On July 5, 1940, she married Glen E. Leach. He preceded her in death.

She was a manager of the J.C. Penney's Catalog Department for 18 years. She was a Deacon and a member of the Union Presbyterian Church and the Union Presbyterian Women, Morning Circle.

She is survived by one son, Donald (wife Jill) Leach, of Santa Ana, California; three grandchildren: Jason (wife Kari) Leach, Judd Leach, and Doug Leach, and three great grandchildren: Rachel Leach, Kyle Leach, and Ryan Leach. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Max Miller and one daughter, Patti Leach.

Per her wishes, her body has been cremated. Family will greet friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am Wednesday May 11, 2011 at the Union Presbyterian Church, Fort Madison. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 am Wednesday May 11, 2011 at the church, with Reverend Mark Binder officiating. Burial will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday at the Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, Missouri. A memorial has been established for the Union Presbyterian Church, contributions may be made at the church during services.
