Margaret Irene Bailey, 77 years, of Denmark, Iowa died at 8:25 pm Friday, November 19, 2010 at the Fort Madison Community Hospital, Fort Madison, Iowa. She was born September 16, 1933 at Marathon, Iowa a daughter of William and Amy V. (Junkermeier) Devereaux. She first married Loyd Henderson on May 25, 1950. They later divorced. On January 21, 1984, she married Donald C. Bailey at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Pocahontas, Iowa. He preceded her in death on January 24, 2006.

Mrs. Bailey had been a resident of Lee County since 1994, and was formerly of Pocahontas, Iowa. She was a homemaker and mother who spent most of her life farming. She is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Fort Madison, Iowa.

She is survived by two sons: Mark William Henderson, of San Francisco, California and Paul L. Henderson, of Havelock, Iowa; two daughters: Diane Kay Travis, of Carter Lake, Iowa and Mary M. (husband Art) Schmitt, of Fort Madison, Iowa ; one brother, Edward D. Devereaux, Spencer, Iowa; one sister, Edna Richardson, Laurens, Iowa; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 Brother, 3 Sisters and 1 Grandson.
