Marjorie Elizabeth Collins, 73 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa, died Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa . She was born October 7, 1951, a daughter of Russell and Marjorie (Regener) Reynolds. On May 5, 1979, she married Raymond Leroy "Beaver" Wilson, Sr. at Oldsmar, Florida. He preceded her in death January 16, 2012. On August 15, 2016, she married Henry Edward Collins, Jr. He preceded her in death September 17, 2020.
She earned her insurance license and worked at APAC for many years. She attended Southeastern Community College and earned a diploma in billing and coding. Later she went to work for Thomas C. Cardella as an insurance agent for many more years. She enjoyed baking and crafts, especially sewing and crocheting. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church, Fort Madison.
She is survived by her children: Tina (Chris) Hageman of West Burlington, Iowa; Terry Wilson (Kurstin) of Keokuk, Iowa and Daniel (Diana) Wilson of West Point, Iowa; five step-children: Raymond Wilson, Jr., of Keokuk, Iowa; Arthur Wilson, of Keokuk, Iowa; John Wilson, of Florida; Teresa (Frankie) Adams, of South Carolina; Jerry (Brandi) Wilson, of Missouri; two sisters: Fonda Baus, of Florida and Lois Victor, of Pennsylvania; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both her husbands, one brother (Donald Reynolds), one son (Dwight Wilson) and two grandchildren.
Her family will greet friends from 3:00 - 4:00 pm Monday, January 27, 2025 at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison. A Celebration of Her Life will follow and begin at 4:00 p.m. Monday at the Barr Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Chris Frank officiating. Barr Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Marjorie Collins family.
