Mary F Campbell, 81, of Fort Madison, Iowa died at 2:45 pm Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at the Fort Madison Community Hospital, Fort Madison.  She was born September 1, 1927 at Mt. Vernon, Indiana, the daughter of Charles Washington and Callie Mae (Holly) Burden.  She married Carl Wolfe Sr.  He preceded her in death.  Later she married Donald Campbell.  He preceded her in death.

She lived in Burlington for many years and moved to Fort Madison in 2006.  She worked as a companion and helped many people in their homes.  She was of the Christian Faith.  She loved to read and enjoyed her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Jeannie) Richards of Albia, Iowa and Carl Jr. (Margie) Wolfe of Muscatine, Iowa; four daughters: Tammy Proehl of Milan, Illinois; Norma (Gary) Davis of Fort Madison; Madeline Hess of Monroe City, Missouri and Penny Wolfe (Michael Conrad) of Burlington, Iowa; two brothers; 13 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one son John Wolfe, two brothers, and one grandson.

The body of Mrs. Campbell was cremated.  Private family services will be held at a later date.
