Melinda Ann Spurgeon, 34 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa Sunday, May 8, 2022. She was born September 26, 1987, a daughter of Kevin and Karen (Vradenburg) Spurgeon. Melinda enjoyed writing poems and spending time with her family, but most important to her was her daughter, Leilani.

She is survived by four children: Leilani Raine Bowden of Fort Madison, Xavier Levi Spurgeon, Elektra Ivy Spurgeon, and Shooter Wind Spurgeon; her mother, Karen Vradenburg of Arkansas; two sisters, Sarah Spurgeon of Arkansas and Wendy (Thomas) Brown of Alabama; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, her paternal grandmother, and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, one brother Matthew Vradenburg, and her other grandparents.
