Nasha Tyree Jaciunde, 44 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa passed away Monday morning, February 16, 2026. She was born July 27, 1981 at Fort Madison, Iowa, a daughter of Jessie and Lois (Spratley) Beard. She married Ramon Jaciunde, they later divorced. They had three children, Jessiona, Leilani, and Aurelio.
She was a 2000 graduate of Fort Madison High School. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Baptist Church, Fort Madison. Nasha was an avid reader. She loved sweets, especially Reese's peanut butter cups and KitKat bars. Her favorite movie was "Dirty Dancing" and purple was her favorite color. She loved her family and her children were her life.
Nasha is survived by father and step-mother, Jessie Beard and Coleen Jones of Fort Madison, three children: Leilani Jaciunde (Brody Caviness) of Mt. Sterling, Iowa; Jessiona Jaciunde and Aurelio Jaciunde both of Fort Madison; three siblings: Melvin (Trina) McKellar of Kansas City, Missouri; Shawna Virgil McKellar of Fort Madison, and Antonio (Carissa) Smith of Keokuk, Iowa; two grandchildren, Barrett and Trace; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Nasha's family will greet friends starting at 12:00 pm/noon Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Barr Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will follow and begin at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison with Reverend Tim Redd officiating.
