Obituary

Patricia Mae "Trish" Crocker, 67 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died at 11:25 am Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at her home. She was born August 3, 1946 at Astoria, Oregon, a daughter of Everett and Violet (Paul) Roe. Born in a military family, she grew up in various areas of the United States. She was very proud of her family's contribution to the security of our country, now joined by her grandson, Jacob Riley, USNG.

She graduated high school at Bossier City, Louisiana. She then moved to Iowa City, Iowa to join her grandmother. In 1975, she relocated to Fort Madison, Iowa with her life partner, best friend and husband, Thomas Crocker. They have owned and operated Pioneer Glass Co. since 1987.

The loves of her life were their children: Cathleen (Brendan) Sanders, Sara Crocker, John Shimon and Jody (Dean) Dewitt, all of Fort Madison, Iowa. They were joined by grandchildren: Jacob Riley, Daniel Douglas and Gabrielle Riley. They are the lights of sunshine for the future. Other survivors include cousins, nieces, nephews, special friend Larry Joe Smith, of Fort Madison, Iowa and one sister, Roberta Wright, of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Per her wishes, her body has been cremated. A private graveside service and burial will be held at a later date at Soldiers Circle, Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison, Iowa.
