Paul Joseph "PJ" Beckert, 67 years, of  Fort Madison, Iowa died Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Birkwood Village of Fort Madison.  He was born August 29, 1957 at Fort Madison, Iowa, the son of Francis B. and Beverly A. (Hoenig) Beckert.

PJ was a lifelong resident of Fort Madison.  He worked at E.T. DuPont, Fort Madison for 25 years.  He is a member of Holy Family Parish.

He is survived by two aunts, one uncle and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation 9:30 - 10:30 am Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Holy Family Parish, Fort Madison.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow and begin at 10:30 am Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Reverend Gary Beckman Celebrant.  Burial will be at Gethsemane Cemetery, Fort Madison.    A memorial has been established for Holy Family Parish.  Barr Memorial Chapel is honored to server the Beckert family, and an online guest book may be found at www.barrmemorialchapel.com.
