Richard Allen Rube, 62 years, formerly of Fort Madison, Iowa died Friday, October 23, 2026 at the Wapello Speciality Care, Wapello, Iowa. He was born October 31, 1963, a son of Wayne H. and Carolyn M. (Rokey) Rube.

Richard was a Civil War re-enactor at Rand Park, Keokuk for 20 years and was also a Rendezvouser at Riverview Park, Fort Madison for 20 years. He worked in different factories, worked as an auto mechanic and helped with farming.

He is survived by three siblings: Michael (Lisa) Rube, of Burlington, Iowa; Sheryl (Marty) Rube-Victory, of Fort Madison, Iowa and Denise (Steven) Hank, of Washington, Illinois and nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents.
