Roxane "Rocky" Calvert-Pihl, 52 years, of Donnellson, Iowa died Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at her home. She was born August 18, 1962 at Keokuk, Iowa, a daughter of Ronald R. and Virginia E. (Hocker) Calvert. She married Steve Pihl, they had three children: Naomi, Brandy, and Joshua.

She lived most of her life in the area and was a 1980 graduate of Central Lee High School. She was a homemaker and worked outside the home as a caregiver to many. She loved yard sales and treasure hunting for Betty Boop, cookie cutters, apples, and classic cartoon characters. Most of all, she loved being with her family.

She is survived by her mother, Virginia Calvert, of Donnellson, Iowa; one son, Joshua (Amy) Pihl, of Keokuk, Iowa; two daughters, Naomi Wheatley, of Indianola, Iowa and Brandy Pihl, of Cleveland, TN; one brother, Rodney (Susan) Calvert, of Donnellson, Iowa; one sister, Rhonda (Brett) Longenecker, of Keokuk, Iowa; two grandchildren, Chloe and William, and one on the way, Isabella Anne; aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and father, Ronald Calvert.

Her body has been cremated. Her family will greet friends from 3:00 - 5:00 pm Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Barr Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Barr Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Bill Willis, officiating. Burial will be at Argyle Memorial Gardens, Argyle, Iowa. A memorial has been established, and contributions may be left at the Barr Memorial Chapel.
