Obituary

Roy P. Victory, 68 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died Sunday, December 25, 2016 at his home. He was born January 17, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of Paul Junior and Joyce I. (Vanover) Victory. He first married JoAnn Peppenhorst. They had two children, Robert and Annemarie. She preceded him in death. He married Francis Spiker. They later divorced. He was engaged to Brenda Worley. She preceded him in death.

He lived in the area most of his life. He last worked driving a truck for ISC out of Burlington. He loved to work on cars, and built and raced cars at local raceways.

Roy was survived by one son, Robert Victory, of Breese, Illinois; one daughter, Annemarie Victory, of Springfield, Illionis; two brothers, Marty (Sheryl) Victory, of Fort Madison and Paul Junior Victory, of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters, Dorothy Rowden, of Buffalo, Missouri and Arlene (Lee) Severn, of Nixa, Missouri; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife JoAnn, fiancé Brenda, two brothers, Harold Kinaman and Thomas Victory, one sister Joyce Ferguson, and one granddaughter, Megan JoAnn Victory.

His body has been cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date. A memorial has been established, contributions may be left at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison.
