Sallie Lee Evelyn Mansheim, 94 years, of Fort Madison died at 1:52 pm Saturday September 6, 2014 at the Kensington, Fort Madison, Iowa.

She was born November 13, 1919 at Fort Madison, Iowa, a daughter of Roy Judd and Coralee (Dauma) Finley. On June 22, 1943, she married John Victor Mansheim at Fort Madison, Iowa. He preceded her in death July 10, 2012.

She has been a resident of Fort Madison most of her life. She worked as a production worker in the metal prefab department at Sheaffer Pen Co. for seven years. She was a member of the First Christian Disciples of Christ Church, Fort Madison.

She is survived by nieces and nephews: Ron Gansy, Sharon Nurse, Catherine Whitmore, Cheryl Simpson, Mark Bowman, and Jim Bowman; nine great nieces, five great nephews, three great great nieces, and four great great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one infant brother, one brother, and three sisters.

Her family will greet friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the Barr Memorial Chapel. Funeral services be held at 11:00 am Thursday, September 11, 2014 the Barr Memorial Chapel with Revered John Simpson, officiating. Burial will be at the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Fort Madison, Iowa. A memorial has been established for the First Christian Disciples of Christ Church, contributions may be made at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison.
