Sallie Jo Williams, 62, of Fort Madison, Iowa and formerly of Mobile, Alabama died Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa. She was born May 16, 1960, a daughter of James Henry and Mary Jo (Lassiter) Wooten. She married Eddie Williams. He preceded her in death.

Sallie was always there for her family and loved her kids and grandkids unconditionally.

She is survived by two sons, David FoxHenry Street (Haleigh Yohn) of Fort Madison and Joshua Thomas Lee of Mobile, Alabama; three grandchildren: Karly, Lillie, and Clyde; her mother, Mary Jo McKinney of Bayou La Batre, Alabama; and one brother, Eddie Wooten of Bayou La Batre, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father, husband, two sons, Jason and Justin, two infant children, and one brother, Gerry.
