Shane Allen Cheely, 47 years, of Burlington, Iowa died January 13, 2024 at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center, West Burlington, Iowa.  He was born October 9, 1976 at Iowa City, Iowa, a son of Cindy Cheely.  On March 22, 2023, he married Shilo Stockwell.

Shane worked in production.  He loved arts and crafts, including drawing, especially shoes and painting, using melted jollyranchers.  He enjoyed fishing, being outside and most of all loved being a dad.

He was survived by his wife, Shilo Cheely, of Burlington, Iowa; children: Makayla, Serena, Shaylee, Marya, Dru and Jackson; mother, Cindy Cheely and two siblings: James (Tamela Knox) Riggs and Cody (Jenny) Cheely, all of Burlington, Iowa; one aunt, Alice Foster and four grandchildren: Asher, Oakland, Grayson, and Kora.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
