Sharon Lynn Cumalander, 70, formerly of Ft. Madison, Iowa passed away peacefully Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Danville Care Center, Danville, Iowa.  She was born May 15, 1952 at Sumter, South Carolina, the daughter of Louis Carroll and JoAnn (Tull) Cumalander.  She graduated from Fort Madison High School in 1970.  She worked as a beautician for years and for over 28 years, she worked for Sheaffer Pen Co.  She enjoyed playing bingo, watching TV and movies and playing cards.  She was of the Christian Faith.

She is survived by one brother, L. Keith (Ann) Cumalander, of Colorado; two nephews, Brian and Eric; and her friend, Linda (Dan) Mettenburg.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her family will greet friends from 1:00 - 1:45 pm Friday, July 14, 2023 at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison.  A graveside service will follow and begin at 2:00 pm Friday, July 14, 2023 at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fort Madison.  Barr Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Cumalander Family, and an online guest book may be found at www.barrmemorialchapel.com
