Sharon Rae Morrison, age 63, of Fort Madison, Iowa died Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Great River Hospice House, West Burlington, Iowa.  She was born May 20, 1960 in Fort Madison, Iowa a daughter of Dennis and Bonnie (Peak) Morrison.

Sharon graduated from the Fort Madison High School.  She work for Sheaffer Pen, and then later at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center, Fort Madison campus.  She loved the people she worked with at the hospital!  She loved her flower gardens, was very creative, enjoyed sewing and crafting, and doing DIY projects.

She is survived by her mother Bonnie Morrison; one sister Sheila Decker; one nephew Matt Decker (Kristina Gesualdo), all of Fort Madison; as well as cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father.

Her family will greet friends from 9:30 - 10:30 am Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the Barr Memorial Chapel, with a Celebration of Her Life to follow, beginning at 10:30 am with Nancy St. Clair officiating.  Private burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison.  A memorial has been established for the Great River Hospice House or PAW Animal Shelter, contributions may be left at or mailed to Barr Memorial Chapel, 1919 Ave F, Fort Madison, Iowa 52627.  Barr Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Morrison family.
