Shawna Dale Rainbolt, 46 years, of Waterloo, Iowa, formerly of Fort Madison, Iowa died Monday, January 19, 2026 at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center, Waterloo, Iowa.  She was born November 21, 1979 in Iowa, a daughter of James and Debra (Farmer) Rainbolt.

Shawna was a loving mother to her three children and a dedicated nurse.  She received her RN at Southeastern Community College Nursing Program, West Burlington, Iowa.  For most of her nursing career, she was a traveling nurse.  In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, breeding and raising English bulldogs and was also an avid thrift shopper.

She is survived by her parents: Debra (Carlo) Bruno of Fort Madison and James (Leslie) Rainbolt, of Keokuk, Iowa; two daughters: Daylan Rainbolt of Waterloo, Iowa and Stormi Norris of Holly Springs, North Carolina; siblings: Lisa (Roger) Rohrer, of Dysart, Iowa; Christine (Keith) Mills of Pekin, Illinois; LeAnn Baker, of Kahoka, Missouri; Trish (Wayne) Atkinson, of Columbia, Missouri and Misty Rainbolt, of Keokuk, Iowa and many other family members and friends.  She was preceded in death by her son, Dakotah Dale Rainbolt.
