Stacy Lynn Heston, 50 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the Fort Madison Community Hospital, Fort Madison. She was born August 28, 1970 in Fort Madison, a daughter of Walter Clements and LaVena (Crandall) Barr. She married Brian Heston, they had two children, Erica and Jordan. They later divorced.

Stacy lived in the area all of her life. She was a 1989 graduate of Fort Madison High School, where she ran track and did the shot put. As she was growing up,  Stacy enjoyed boating and camping with her family at their cabin on the Mississippi River, and for 18 years her family vacationed at the Lake of the Ozarks.  She liked to have fun with her girlfriends, scrapbooking, shopping, and collecting Boyds Bears and purses.  She sold Mary Kay for years.  She liked cruising the town in her convertible with her kids.  She also loved her dogs and treated them like kids, taking them on many car rides.  Stacy loved to visit Florida so she could go to the beach!

She is survived by her two children, Erica Heston (James Powers) and Jordan Heston (Cadence Thomas), all of Fort Madison; three grandchildren: Paislynn Berry, River Powers, and Brayson Heston; one brother, Michael (Ann) Barr of Iowa Falls, Iowa; one half brother, Christopher Ward of Florida; and other family members.

A memorial has been established to assist the family with final expenses. Contributions may be made directly to Barr Memorial Chapel, 1919 Ave F, Fort Madison, Iowa 52627.
