Terri Ann Ross was born November 18, 1969 at Fort Madison, Iowa the daughter of Lawrence Paul and Connie (Wright) Spring. On June 5, 1997, she married Leslie Allen Ross Jr at Fort Madison, Iowa. She was a lifelong resident of Fort Madison. She attended Fort Madison High School. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing pool, her computer, music, the Rodeo, and her animals.
At 40 years of age, Terri died at 8:05 pm Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Fort Madison Community Hospital, Fort Madison, Iowa from injuries sustained in an automobile accident South of Denmark, Iowa. She is survived by her mother and step-father: Connie and William Hart, of Fort Madison, Iowa; five children: Robin Ann, Erica Nichole, Raven Lee, Daniel, and Cody; all of Ottumwa, Iowa; one brother, Lanny (Sabrina "Ekko") Wright, of West Point, Iowa; one sister, Angela (Edward) Hart, of Fort Madison, Iowa; one step-sister, Jenny McCardy, of Fort Madison, Iowa; her maternal grandmother, Vera Wright, of Fort Madison; one grandson, Braden;
aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, who was also killed in the car accident, her father, maternal grandfather, paternal grandparents, and two uncles.
The body of Terri Ross has been cremated. Her family will greet friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Barr Memorial Chapel. A Memorial Service for Terri and her husband, Leslie Allen Ross Jr., will follow and be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison. Reverend John Simpson will officiate. Private family burial will be held following the services. A memorial has been established for PAWS, contributions may be made at the Barr Memorial Chapel.
