Obituary

Thomas Everett Crocker, 75 years,  West Point, Iowa died Tuesday June 10, 2025 at his home.  He was born September 1, 1949 in Lincoln, Nebraska, a son of Everett Monroe and Jean Louise (Stuhr) Crocker.  He graduated from Nishna Valley School in 1967.  He enlisted in the United States Navy in August 1969.  He was a veteran the United States Navy, serving during Vietnam, and of the National Guard, serving during Desert Storm.  For 30 years, he owned and operated Pioneer Glass Company in Fort Madison.  On March 20, 1976, he married Patricia "Trish" Roe.  She preceded him in death April 2, 2014.  On September 11, 2016, he married Pauline Black Yeager.

He is survived by his wife Pauline Crocker, of West Point, Iowa; his children: Cathleen (David) Sanders of Montrose, Iowa; Sara Crocker, John Shimon and Jody (Dean) Dewitt, all of Fort Madison, Iowa; one stepson, Kyle Yeager of Emerson, Iowa; four siblings: Susan Majerus of Elgin, Illinois; Nancy (Ralph) Richter of Des Moines, Iowa; Sarah (Ray) Crocker of New Hardford, Connecticut; Christine Ochoa of Allenspark, Colorado; three grandchildren: Jacob (Jensen) Riley, Gabrielle (Kolton) Atkins, and Daniel (Keely) Douglas; four great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parent, wife Trish, and one brother Patrick Crocker.

His family will greet friends 9:30 - 10:30 am Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison.   Military Rites and burial will follow at 10:30 am Saturday at Soldiers Circle, Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison, Iowa.  A memorial has been established,  contributions may be left at Barr Memorial Chapel.  Barr Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Crocker family and an online guest book may be found at www.barrmemorialchapel.com.
