Thomas "Tom" Dewey Ellison, 79 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died March 4, 2024 at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House, West Burlington, Iowa.  He was born November 5, 1944 at Adrian, Illinois, a son of Maurice and Frances (Noble) Ellison.  On August 13, 1978, he married Marie Haendler at Colusa, Illinois, they later moved to the Denmark, Iowa area.

Tom enjoyed raising a variety of farm animals and loved outdoor recreational activities, including four wheeling with the grandkids, nieces and nephews.

He was a loving son, brother, uncle, husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa.

Per his wishes, no services are planned.  A memorial has been established, contributions may be left at or mailed to Barr Memorial Chapel, 1919 Ave F, Fort Madison, Iowa 52627.
