Treffle E. Beaupre Jr., 77 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at his home. He was born March 18, 1938 in Massachusetts, a son of Treffle E. Sr. and Beatrice (Harris) Beaupre. He first married Bonnie Iliff. They later divorced. On October 8, 2008, he married Linda Myers in Fort Madison, Iowa.

Treffle and Linda met while both working at DuPont in Moberly Missouri. He was transferred to the Fort Madison DuPont Plant in 1990, retiring in 1997. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a racing fan, especially Jeff Gordon and a Kansas City Chiefs fan. Years ago he enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Myers-Beaupre, of Fort Madison, Iowa; one son, Treffle E. Beaupre III, of South Carolina; three daughters: Debra Schnyder, of Marion, Iowa; Terrie (husband Tim) Lindsay, of Fort Madison, Iowa; Sharon Houten, of Burlington, Iowa; one brother, Albert Beaupre, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts; two sisters: Violet (husband Richard) Wilcox, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts; Darlene Thomas, of South Carolina; 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters, two grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison, Iowa. Burial with full military rites will be at the Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison, Iowa. A memorial has been established, contributions may be left at the Barr Memorial Chapel and Cremation Services.
