Vera Elaine Dixon, 69 years, of West Burlington, Iowa died Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House, West Burlington.    Elaine was born was born January 22, 1955, a daughter of C.W. and Rose Ellen (Klingbiel) Gross.  She married Tony Dixon on September 19, 1971.  They were married 53 years.  He survives.

She attended Fort Madison High School and graduated from Southeastern Community College.  She worked for herself as a computer programmer.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Tony Dixon of West Burlington; her son, Shad (Tana) Dixon of Burlington; two grandchildren, Zachary and Brayton; and one sister Josephine Kreuzenstein.  She was proceeded in death by her parents and one sister, Edna VanLieu.
