Walter William Bradford, 87 years, of Wever, Iowa died at 5:30 am Friday, August 5, 2016 at his home. He was born July 1, 1929, a son of Jess and Pearl (Sowden) Bradford. He married Margret Parker.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He worked in manufacturing at IAAP for 25 years. He also worked a janitor for Anchor Metals and farmed.

He is survived by one step-son, Tim (Sue) Parker, of Fort Madison, Iowa; two step-daughters, Trudy (Larry Jr.) Wright, of Fort Madison, Iowa and Twilia (Larry) Nall, of Bolingbrook, Illinois; six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and one brother.

Per his wishes, his body has been cremated. No services are planned. Barr Memorial Chapel and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
