William "Bill" J. Casey,65, of Denmark, Iowa, passed away at 12:34 a.m. Monday, June 29,2026 at University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa. Bill was born on December 17,1960, in Urbana, Ohio, the son of Charles R. and Vera R. (Webb) Casey.

On October 10, 1981, he married his loving wife, Darla (Wilbert) Casey, in Fort Madison, Iowa. She survives.

Bill enjoyed fishing, playing with his grandkids and nieces and nephews in the swimming pool, camping, helping his kids with projects or just making everyone laugh.

In addition to his wife Darla, he is survived by three children: Candy (Troy) Matter, Chris (Amy) Chapman, and Paul (Candice) Chapman; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his mother Vera Casey, two brothers, Richie (India) Casey and Doug (Betty) Casey, his sister Nancy, and the Wilbert family.  He was preceded in death by his father Charles.
