William A. "Bill" Woodall, 78 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died at 2:40 pm Monday, September 2, 2013 at his home. He was born December 13, 1934, a son of Jack and Alma Jean (Martin) Woodall.
On November 19, 1955, he married Margry K. Richenberger. She preceded him in death on May 10, 2012.

Bill retired from the Iowa State Penitentiary. He owned and operated Lake Wilderness Campgrounds for 21 years. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Johnson, of Fort Madison, Iowa; one brother, Robert Woodall, of New London, Iowa; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son, three sisters, and five brothers.

Per his wishes his body has been cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date. A memorial has been established, and contributions may be made at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison, Iowa.
